Dr. Diana Zitserman completed her baccalaureate studies at Pennsylvania State University in biology and biochemistry. Her career began as a research scientist studying developmental biology and cancer pathways at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. After her 7-year career in research that resulted in eight journal publications, Dr. Z decided to take her dedication to science and combine it with her passion for understanding human interaction, nature, and alternative healing. She furthered her medical studies in pursuit of a lifelong career in Naturopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Bridgeport culminating in a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine and Masters in Acupuncture. Her practice in medicine addresses disease risk and prevention through the use of guided nutrition and supplementation, herbal medicine, lifestyle counseling, homeopathy, and acupuncture.
Dr. Z treats a myriad of health issues, including chronic pain management, cardiovascular and digestive health, stress management, hormonal regulation and emotional stability. The goal in natural health care is to support the body’s inherent healing mechanisms, create balance and restore the quality of health for all.
